Prem Jothi Girls Home

Prem Jothi Girls Home: 19 girls, ages 15-21

Prem Jothi is home to the elder girls of Father Paul's circle. Aged between 15 and 21, they are currently sitting their ordinary and advanced level examinations. The girls are very friendly and loving, due perhaps in part to having a truly amazing matron.

Understandably, due to the girls somewhat traumatic backgrounds, a few of the girls are still quite unsettled. There is one newcomer to the home who lost all the female members of her family in the Tsunami. She is still struggling to find her place in the home but is making remarkable improvement as the days go by.

The home is set in beautiful surroundings but the space is limited and inadequate for 19 girls. The home would benefit from a better storage area and a lick of paint.

The girls are really wonderful. They are very resourceful with the little they have and can always make light of any given situation. If you would like to make a donation, please contact Living Heritage.
